That sounds like a great idea. I would be interested. I would kinda feel like cheating a bit, but I don't get too the track very often anymore, so my launches now are very inconsistent. This would help me enjoy my few visits at the track more and probably make my clutch last longer. I'm surprised this is the only one I see on the market. I searched, but this looks like the only one with a solenoid so it would only be active in 1st gear.

Going to install this with a arming switch and a first gear indicator switch. So it's only activated when I want it to be and only in first gear.

how are you going to install a first gear indicator switch?
The TR6060 doesnt have any gear indicators built in besides reverse.

I suspect that the 2017 6 speeds might due to the active rev-matching; but I am not sure.

What he said ^^^ Wouldn't want it slowing clutch release in other gears

I've got a Dashlogic unit and it displays what gear I'm in. Don't know how it does it but assume the same way as the CAGS indicator as I can be stopped in 1st gear with clutch in and it displays 0 gear. BTW I have the CAGS bypass installed but the 1-4 display still shows up ...when it does I say "go F**k yourself "

The dashlogic unit must be comparing the rpm and vehicle speed sensor to determine the gear then the clutch is out.

I'm still doing some research on how I'm going to wire this in the easiest way I way I was thinking is running a switch underneath the shift boot (not the best way but would work) next way I was thinking if that didn't work was just running a switch on the shifter so I could turn the system on and off during a pull

Does the dash logic have an output that you could set to trigger it? For example set it send a signal to the solenoid with wheel speed between 0-40 mph and then have an arming switch to enable the device when wanted? This way you could still do your burnout and turn it on at the lights. I have a dash logic and I'm interested in this device, thinking I could make it work this way.

No output capability, but it does have 2 auxiliary inputs for aftermarket sensors
