I bought mine form southern auto parts along with the camaro bracket.
Phazer,

I got mine from Southern Auto Parts as well. On my wiring harness there were two pink wires (one on each side). One side is full and one side has an empty slot. You want to hook into the side that's full. Yellow to the pink slot, and black to the black. Also, as the OP said, you'll need to make the connectors thinner so they'll go in.

This is easily done by loosening the one screw located at the base of the bracket. You will need a torq screwdriver (found in any hardware store), size is T20. After removing the screw, pull the bracket up along the windshield to reveal the wire clip. The clip pulls out with a little force. You now have the open wires and bracket to work with freely.

You will find two rows of wires, one row will have a black wire with a pink wire on the same side. This side will also have wires taking up all holes. The other side should have an open pin hole.

Important***You will need to file down the pins on your invisicord to at least half. A simple metal file will do. Some additional filing may be needed.

Next, insert the black sheathed pin (ground) into the black wire hole on the bracket. It may take a little force and a pair of pliers may be needed. The pin should insert up to flared area (close to the black or yellow colored sheath). Next, insert the yellow pin into the pink wire hole. Reattach your bracket to the mirror, slide the mirror back on and done.
Thanks for the DIY! You saved me alot of time. great job! You the man!

I did not have to file down my pins. I specified 2010 Camaro when ordered my Invisicord. I guess he gave me proper pin length. I used the Passport 9500xi with a blendmount. The blendmount was a little pricey, but it is a great piece of workmanship and they send you extra screws, an allen key, plastic ties and padding for your fingers for those hot summer days to protect your fingers if you want to remove the RD.

The invsisicord is probably 30 cents for the materials, but I didn't care to try and make one and you gotta pay a man for his work.

On the Passport, the mute button on the unit itself still works with the invisicord. If your talking about the intellicord that comes with the Passport and has a mute on the cord, you can only use either the invisicord or the intellicord. You cannot use both at the same time.

To the guys who bought the invisicord, did you buy it with the fuse option? And is 12 in the right length?

Depends on where you want to hang the radar detector. 12" is probably the shortest u want.
