Next Step w/427 Build Starts Today...

A lot of you probably know that the ADM 427 Project carsold recently. Today we start the next phase of the build... at the customer's request, after seeing the video of the 1,000hp car we recently built, we're adding a Magnuson Blower and an ADM Fuel Delivery System, LPE ZR-1 Clutch package, the ADM Supercharged Cold Air Intake w/Highflow Race Scoop, and a LS-9 CAM... with OEM catalytic converters to boot.

Going to be another awesome build, so check back frequently as we will be updating this post with pictures as the build progresses!

OK, I can understand the tweeks to hold more power from the Magnason blower such as blower friendly LS-9 cam and fuel delivery upgrade and stronger clutch. What gives with using the factory CATS on this vehicle? Say what? As promised how about a few pics of just what is going on here as well.

The factory catalytic converters have a higher platinum content than most aftermarket cats ,In short this makes them more effiecient for cleaning up what the ls engines put out.

Also we have to meet a certain boost to make the power that we have promised,The factory cats will allow proper backpressure for this.

You are adding power robbing cats to achieve a certain boost amout? The boost from a restriction the cats make will lower power output. Wouldnt it be easier and more efficent to pulley it till it makes the boost and run a less restrictive cat?

You have obviously not been made aware of the cost of a 10 rib system and what it takes to make it work properly,We only need 8-10 psi to make the Promised power...over 650 rwhp and over 700 torque.

In business it is always best to over deliver and under promise.....It cost money when you over promise and under deliver.

I am not building a record breaker here, just a very nice driving emmissions friendly Camaro.

Thanks for your input,I always like to see your angle on things.

It is a Hard surface protection film.We use it on all cars that come ino the shop.

It is made by 3M.

Our cars and many others come from the factory covered in the stuff...Really says alot about a company.
