With most tunes, even on a supercharged car, as long as the "cat overtemp protection" is not disabled, and the de-fueling settings aren't wrong, there shouldn't be issues. I've had two Kooks equipped cars, both with KB's and they both failed. Neither car was tuned in a way that affected the cat overtemp function. It happens. After dealing with this very same issue the only thing I have figured out from numerous tuners I've contacted (and not just the one that does our cars) is that a cammed, s/c'd car should select a high grade cat with 100 cpi (cores per inch) instead of the mainstream 300-400 cpi cats. It will allow the cat to "breathe" better, and not develop/retain as much heat. My only issue at this point is which one's to choose so I don't waste a bunch of money experimenting and ruining something else in the process..
