Switch to RS tail lights? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I've tried looking, there is a kit from Phasetek Performance that makes non RS tail lights look like RS.

Kind of want to swap them out though. I don't see anywhere to buy them from?

Wait till the 2012 kicks more in. The RS style tail lights are stock on ALL 2012 camaros. So it should not be hard ordering just 2012 Tail lights be ease that way

I know there's a difference .

But is just a darker lens or are there more LEDs or what ?

The Lens its self is a Deeper shade of red. And the part leading in is black makeing it seem darker hold on ill get side by side pics

I talked to Jonathan at AAC, the lens is the same color, it's the inner housing that is darker. They did a check when they had the lenses off....

ah ok that explains it better thanks i thought the outside was darker too

I wanted to know, so I had him ask his techs... the tech responded and told me that.

learn something new ever day on here hard for me to tell sence i have an RS

*edit* IMO the car is not a true "camaro" with out the RS package it completes it and makes it LOOK like it should again IMO

then again on my build numbers it will ALWAYS be an RS and thats what truely matters. No matter the mods it will ALWAYS be an RS camaro
