L99 Bolt On Individual Dyno Sheet

We've been dyno testing bolt on mods on the Texas Speed L99 development car. The car is a 5k mile 2010 A6 that was bone stock for the baseline.

First Mod Was From Bone Stock To TSP Cold Air

Second Mod Was TSP Complete Exhaust System (headers,X,Mufflers)

Third Mod Was Fasterproms Stage 2 Ported Intake & TB

Adding under drive pulley as we speak!

this is awesome, so far I have LT's, Corsa LS3, and ADM on my L99, I am always looking for more HP.

It would be interesting to see the difference with just exhaust and then with headers.

BTW, were these also with a tuner or no tune?

If you used a tuner, which did you use?

So the dynos are for bolt on and then tuned correct?

I've already go an exhaust, any idea how much gain just the headers offer?

The only one that was tuned was after the headers. It made right at 3hp/3ftlbs from the tune at that point because the intake and exhaust mods had already pretty well leaned the A/F out. It was a bit of tweaking really at that point. I would expect our headers to make about 15-18hp alone if you already have an aftermarket catback with X.

Your header kit looks beautiful...
Is the cold air kit alum pipe or is it plastic?

Keep going guys

That car has a strong baseline. Looks like it will be a strong overall car.
Looks like the baby L99 cam did not like the ported intake too much as it only gained 3hp and lost good torque under 3750Rpm's. That intake needs some heads and a better cam me thinks.
This is a pure example of why not to put a ported intake or fast intake on your stock or mildly modded L99.
