So it was carbon fiber vinyl that was applied, wrapped around the pieces?
Definatly a nice job, looks good. I wouldn't think that the geometric pattern of the CF would look as good wrapped (warped?) around those corners and in the grooves. |

I like the real carbon fiber trim kit from carid. The hydrographic coating does not give off that shine that carbon fiber does. If anything I would have wrapped it in 3M Di-Noc vinyl.

That would depend on the process. There are some hydrographic sites that show a gloss finish on their Cf process. It depends on how many coats of clear they spray on. Some of the sites have awsome results.
