There are too many if's still to know whether it can be had...like how many will actually be available...and whether the dealer I use will actually end up with an allocation...and how much they decide to mark up when then get the allocation...even though they say they'll sell it at MSRP today...good luck to all who wants to try and get one...

...well, the poll's language is a bit over the top for even my cocky arrogant nature... ...LOL, I will honestly say however I am all in and will trade my ZL1 in for it if comes in around a price I feel the car should sell at. There has been a wide margin of speculation on that price. Time will tell by the fall of this year.

im up and down
i would love to have it - i just dont know if i want it. Not sure it would get enough track time. Plus the 1LE is not that far off from a performance stand point for just under 40k. 20k min price difference is a twin turbo kit and a set of wheels |

Right, you could even get a built LS7 and drop it in the 1LE, sell the LS3, plus wheels, etc etc |

OP, you forgot the "I'm not interested in the Z/28" poll option. If it were there, I would have checked it.

This poll was not presented properly to be taken seriously from my perspective. But now that oldschool has posted I'll say that I'm all in as well. I'm number one on the list from a local dealer, if he gets an allotment. I have reserved the right to back out if GM goes over the top (in my mind) with the pricing. The best part is that I even have the wife's blessings!
It'll be nice having the choice of driving a '69 Z/28 or a 2014 Z/28. Here's praying for a fair price and an allotment at my local dealer. |

...perhaps my friend.... only time will tell. Let me share something with you. The ZL1 is a bear when it's cooler, but it's squirrely and traction limited. It's not as strong in the heat, but it's glued to the ground. It has a split character, more than what I bargained for. An N/A track oriented car would fit me better. Based on what we have been shown this is a total performance ride. Besides, I like RPM's....and often bounce my car if I use my ear instead of the meters. For what we have seen, and where we have come from, we are lucky to be here now with these products, and to have such choices. It only comes down to what is affordable. And I hope it is, otherwise I am SOL.

To each their own and all, but I'm not seeing any real point in it, unless of course you just want a race car. Which I understand that. But from what I've heard its almost like a stripped down version (to save weight) of the ZL1 or so. I'm totally no expert on the subject at all. But I was also taken back by seeing the air conditioning is optional? Aww righty then. Coming from a hot weather state, that just seemed odd to me. Unless this thing is just totally intended as a toy/race car whatever for people to have. I have a boring little ole 1LT and I'm totally happy with that. Its plenty speedy for me. I don't need to go 175 mph. I won't even get my car past 90 and that's on rare occasion. But I realize everyone's different. I'm not a speed demon kind of guy. I'm too chicken lol.
