I believe I have made my decision to go with a twin turbo setup. There is a STS for sale on the site. Does anyone know anything good or bad about this setup? After looking at all the different setups, I want the AGP setup but it looks like those are hard to come by used.

Do not go with a rear mount set up. You will be sorry
There is a very good reason why you do not see Used AGP setups for sale. Nobody gets rid of them.

I have the BTR Stage II Cam. Do I have to replace this cam to run the turbo?

I have 3.91 gears and it would be too aggressive for the 4.02 6L80 first gear. Im planning on a single turbo after i see how far i can go n/a so the 2.48 first gear in the 4l80 may suit me a little better. The point was that the auto 5.0's are going to give you fits unless you have an auto yourself. In the car racing world he will never hear the end of it if he has to go forced induction to beat an n/a mustang. At 450whp, an auto would be a big jump in performance as long as he has the right tires/suspension

The old LSA blower record holder made like 815whp and on the same dyno, same boost level, gained like 150whp. I think we now hold the stock ZL1 engine hp record 1086/966 wheel. We've also switched over half mile blower guys to TT who gained 10+mph. I don't know if this customer ever held the LSA 1/4 mile record but one of our ZL1 customers is now quicker and faster than any LSA 1/4 car. 9.0@154. |
