Please experts, is this a supercharger bearing, or maybe an idler pulley?
Car has 72,000 miles on it.

Take a long screwdriver and put the tip on the water pump. Use the screwdriver as a stethoscope and listed to the handle end. Start there and report back

I'm not an expert. Those are my top two thoughts.
You can easily take the belt off the supercharger by moving the idler pulley and hand spin a few things and see if there is excessive drag or noise.
I have used spray lube to temporarily lube the suspected bearings if you can get some lube to them. Anything that can get in there WD40 etc. You'll hear a change in sound if you get the lube into a bad bearing.
Please KEEP CLEAR of moving parts and try not to oil up the belt. If you can't safely spray while it is running shut it off and spray one at a time as you turn the engine off and on to figure out which one made it quieter.
I'm thinking idler that's where I'd start. Let us know.

Remove the sc belt, and run it you will no if it’s in that drive line, if it is focus on the tensioner puller first with a stethoscope or screwdriver, and then to actual sc.

Okay, is the belt easy to put back on? All I need is a 1/2 docket? I will run all these tests after this mornings doctors appointment. Hoping it’s just the idler pulley, fingers crossed camaro family.

The SC has a 10 year 120k mile warranty. If it's the bearing they will replace it.

Yes just push the tensioner towards the motor and remove the belt. Make sure you note where the belt runs or if you forget its in your owners manual. DONT race the engine, just idle like your video. Also inspect the backside of the belt for sand or trapped pebbles why you have it off.

I do have a nitrous system on my car that I have only ran twice. Should I take this off first? I also removed the belt. Started it. No noise. Put the belt back on started again. Noise seems to be coming from the bearing when I use a screw driver to listen. To the shop it goes...

Bump... should I take off my nitrous before brining it in the shop tomorrow? So they won’t have any say so to not replace my supercharger?

If you don’t have a relationship with the dealer, then yes remove all and back to stock.

Really???

Where does the ZL1 have nitrous installed stock (upon delivery)? Now you throw in you have nitrous and have a bad bearing somewhere? How much of a shot?
