I feel sorry for people driving this car in the winter also. Only because its rear-wheel and low to the ground so when the heavy stuff comes down you won't be able to move and fish-tailing all over the road in winter is not fun. Scary experience had my GTO lose control on the highway while snowing and went across three lanes doing 360s until I ended up in the ditch. Sad thing is I was only going 30 mph when she decided to lose control. Learned my lesson that day, these cars should not be driven in winter.

Chrysler 300 for the winter time as my DD FTW.

That's complete crap... buy a set of SNOW tires and this car will do just fine! Put Blizzaks on 2 of my Mustangs and NEVER had an issue with the typical 6 to 8 inches of snow we get here in Mid-Michigan... IN FACT I would go through the heavy snow a LOT EASIER than the FWD with their typical all season tires!

Just noticed you are from Mount Pleasant so you KNOW how much snow we get here in the Saginaw Valley area...

Don't underestimate the effectiveness of the "StabilaTrac" in heavy weather. If a loss of control is experianced, the car will automatically brake each wheel indipendently to help regain control....

Yeah I know about the snow man, we get more then you do. I don't drive my muscle cars in the snow, I agree a V6 you can get away with it but people with the V8 good luck. You can do it but your comfort level will be shit the whole time driving. I have always had a second car for winters so thats why I believe you shouldn't drive these in winter.

V8 doesn't matter either... as pointed out traction control and stabilitract do an excellent job... My V6 was supercharged and was 320 RWHP! My comfort level driving in the snow was absolutely fine and dandy... Even when I would drive to Mt. Pleasant...

And I never had any problems in my IROC on ice (which I find infinitely worse than snow) - even with no traction control, stability control, or anything even related to a computer. Heh.

Ok so I did a burn out about three weeks ago and it was pretty sick, left about a 20 foot skid mark. I've tried to do it since but I can't get my tires to smoke or get a good burn out.. now idea what's going on.. ideas?
