Use a wet applicator to clean it and a mild cleaner if needed. You shouldn't have issues. I've had alcantera before and it's much more robust than factory leather in my experience. It cleans up like new with a wet towel.

I use Sonax Alcantara cleaner on mine. I only have 4500 miles on mine but still looks brand new. I use this about every third detail to keep it up.

I wish I could sell my alcantara wheel to one of you guys but I need to keep it in case I sell it and they want the original wheel.

I highly encourage people to challenge themselves and ask if you REALLY like the feel of the fake suede on your hands, or if you just like the idea of it

Personally, I like the feel.I just wish the rim was a little thinner. I really love the feel of the old thin rim steering wheels.

I used these on my steering wheel and shifter. I got the car with 52k miles on it and they were both in need of a cleaning. Worked great and they look brand new now.

I like the feel and thickness. I drove a base golf with the plastic type wheel that was super thin, it felt gross and weird

Agree with these Adams products. Mine feels like new every time I use it.

I agree.....if anyone is selling their 2SS wheel let me know! I can find a good home for it

Alcantara is very easy to clean. Just use some dish soap in hot water and a terry cloth towel (or you can buy alcantara cleaner), just gently scrub the leather and it gets clean pretty quickly and looks like new again.

My shift knob, at 4,900 miles, looks worn already thanks to my sweaty hands. :(

Believe it or not, just follow the tips here for cleaning and it'll come back to life pretty well.
