My Build/Drag Pack
Looking for reviews of people with similar set ups, yes I tried googling what I plan on doing. This winter im saying goodbye to my warranty early. I have a 18 SS 6 spd.
So I plan on getting the TSP CNC Ported Heads/VVT3 Cam Package, Trunions, TSP Long Tube Headers, Roto Fab, Stock Intake Ported, Cut Off Cats/Resonators, Stock NPP Muffler. What should I expect for power to the wheels with this? I have looked into the flex fuel, but its limited around me. If I tune it with the E85 can I run either that or 93? Flex fuel stuff is new to me. Also, at what point do I need to upgrade my fuel system? How is the VVT3 Cam on the street? I do not daily the car, ive got about 4k on it in 14 Months so drivability isn't a big concern for me. Would you recommend going more aggressive cam? I only drive it locally and will be taking it to the strip. Which brings me to my next question. Whats a good brand wheel/tire/tire size for a Drag Pack? Thanks for any Recommendations/Feedback Robby |

I would suggest GPI or Pray for the heads/cam package and use Johnson 2110 lifters instead of LS7.
Pray stage 3 setup went 10.0 @ 134 in 3000da at camaro fest in a A8 car. I think it made around 580whp The setup you have listed will probably end up around 530whp. Ported stock intake will hold it back a good 30whp compared to a ported msd. Stage 1 cam would be better with a ported stock intake imo.

i need to dyno my car to get some accurate numbers so i couldn't comment on that but daily driving a vvt3 i would say i wouldn't have any complaints on it, drivers like stock just has all the noise and power to it now.

Honestly, I'd talk to Pray and get a custom cam off the shelves are cool but it's exactly that... A custom grind will be more to what you want. Regarding your flex-fuel question its exactly that.... you get tuned for basically both sides of the table straight 93 and full e85 and the car automatically adjusts to any E% in between. You can run whatever you want and you'll be fine.

Ditch the stock intake. They really hold back a cammed car compared to the msd. A 95mm tb will also help

A TSP heads/cam setup car went 9.9 @136 at that same CamaroFest, but all 3 vendors mentioned put out great products. Good luck with it.
