I second this. I just changed mine this week. I was having a real "Notchy" feeling in the 1-3 shift, this makes it feel so much smoother. Anyone with the TR6060 having issues, definitely needs to change their transmission fluid to this.

I use the Redline (been recommended that change) and have heard the Royal Purple SynchroMesh also works much better than the OEM stuff.

Woot for Redline D4 ATF. I made the swap in mine at 16k miles and the difference was very noticeable. I recently had the trans out again at 41k miles and did another fluid exchange. The Redline had held up great - it essentially looked new. The car has done a fair bit of drag racing over the past 4 years, so I was delighted to see the fluid holding up well.

As for the clutch fluid - that's definitely one to stay on top of pretty regularly, especially if you run the car hard. The stock slave cylinder is pretty good at getting the clutch dust into the fluid and deteriorates it pretty quickly. Once it starts to break down you'll start getting symptoms of nasty fluid, hanging/low/sticking clutch pedal, grinds/lockouts on your shifts, etc. A dedicated reservoir and a remote underhood speed bleeder are worthwhile upgrades for cars that get run hard as they make exchanging the fluid a snap.

Been using redline d4 in both my Tremec transmissions for a decade. Far better than GM Synchromesh fluid.
