Headlight change fromHID to LED 2010 Camaro 2SS Ikon zl1 conversation
Hi,
I have a 2010 2ss I recently purchased. I then bought a Ikon 5th to 6th gen zl1 front bumper. Headlights are HID. New headlight are LED and need help with the wiring. Was curious if anybody had issues with the headlight conversation before. Love to stay with the HID light but out of the budget at this time. Got four wires from old harness and three with new. Unsure exactly if this will be an issue. Rewiring the connection myself. But unsure about the green and blue wires. New light, one black, one red and one blue wire. Old light, one black, one red, one blue and one green. Have a date this weekend and sure would like my car. Definitely not taking her out in the old Chevy spark. I appreciate any help. Thank you |

Not sure, but it sounds like the green wire might be for the halos?

ugggggghhhhhh....how about you just get a 6th gen if you like that look.....nothing looks worse than adding a 6th gen bumper to a 5th.

I just did the same thing to my 2013. I got an adapter harness from rgv Shelby, camarolights.net. Did you hook up your fog lights yet?, I’m having a problem getting those to work. I spliced in the supplied connectors but still got nothing?

watch out....Tommy gets upset and will send a nasty message about not caring what your "option" is on his front end......lololol....he will just say you are poor and live in a trailer....oh and he has a late model ZL1.....though I guess he can't drive that and would have to use his Spark??

only a car..should never get emotionally attached to a piece of metal. imho putting a gen6 zl1 front on our cars destroys the cars looks..it looks what it is..a part from another car just thrown on another car..me no likey at all. you want a gen6 zl1 then save up for one.. btw i live in a 400k house all paid off lol..i owe nobody a single penny...ofc i would love a gen6 zl1 but cant put that much money into a car |
