Quite a few women in our Camaro Club. Some in leadership positions. One of them lives on the other side of the state (3hour drive). She attends a lot of our events and owns three Camaros (3rd Gen, 5th Gen, 6th Gen) and is organizing a huge Camaro event at Gilmore Museum. Maybe it is a chick car (<— that was a joke)

I will say that, to my mild surprise, a very large percentage of Camaro drivers I see on the road here are female, especially with 5th gens, it's easily >50%. Surprise or not, I'm very happy about that actually, there's something special about seeing a mature woman get out of a proper car with a wide smile.

Much fewer 6th gens Camaros around here, and those seem to have mostly male drivers.

I guess I'm a slow learner and took the long road. I just couldn't handle going through 3 more years of high school to get a 4 year degree. I mean I have certifications and all, but I really feel this is the first time in 15 years, I'm actually getting paid close to what I think I'm worth.
lol, well it was nice while it lasted. The semiconductor industry was insane back when everyone was trying to rush to market to get their HDTVs to market. We created the semiconductors on these silicon wafers, and under normal production standards, if we got 80% good production out of a wafer, it was barely profitable. With the DLP chips (This was just after Y2K) we could get about 10% good yield, and it was still making the company some crazy profit. Imagine if GM could only get 10% of all the cars it built into consumers hands, if that gives you an idea.

Of course, it all pretty much came crashing down shortly after the .com bust. It didn't help that countries like China were stealing our processes and making them cheaper. Of course, now that most everything is done in those countries we can't seem to get production from them.

Yeah, and it doesn't help that I look about 10-20 years younger than my actual age. Although, I guess I don't mind that part as it means that me driving around in my Camaro, no one suspects a mid-life crisis...

I would definitely believe you. Hell, the 2016 SS Sedan that I traded in almost has better paint than the Camaro that I traded for. The key to keeping it look great for a long time for me was not too towel dry, but to use a combination of an air blower and a spot free rinse product that I used on my vehicles. Whatever your cleaning methods, keep on keeping on and I'll agree with your encounters, beautiful color!

Tons of women driving them around here. One woman I stumble across on my commute from time to time has had 2 6th gens; an LS and an LT. Gives me a thumbs up. Her LT that she upgraded to is dressed out very similar to how my SS was.

There's more than a few women in SS's as well (5th gen and 6th gen), saw one lady in a blue ZL1 too. Most don't wave back, including the lady in the Z when I pulled up next to her at the light in the SS and gave her a thumbs up.
Just got a look from her like, "...Hmmph... peasant." (Ow??) </3 And 5th gens, I can't count how many women are driving them. My wife was one of them until she gave hers up for a Tacoma, but I see them every day.

A Tacoma? That's like one step removed from a Subaru. Are you sure your wife hasn't been noticing women driving Camaros too?

Well, it has been 16 days and so far:

My aunt's and uncle's (all in their 70's & 80's) think it's cool.

My MI cousin's husband (who is a Mustang guy), all of a sudden wants to come out for a visit. He's only seen pictures of course.

A maintenance guy in the park stopped by as I was leaving earlier today and told me how much he liked it.

My Mustang owning friends all complain about my "ugly taillights" as that is all they ever see!!!

Went to the local FedEx to ship a couple of packages. Guy pulled in right after me and said I like your car.

Pretty often I get random compliments on my 2017 SS like that.

People love the orange and the general look. Lots of comments on how good it looks without the wing.
