what does this mean for orders at 3400?

Will they still be produced with the splitter and black accent package? All NEW allocations will not have those options?

Yes. Orders at 3000+ status have already been accepted for production, these new constraints only apply to new orders.

Well I ended up finding a 22 in transit and got it reserved. My 23 order is still 1100
I'll leave the order in for now until I pickup the 22 but very excited to hopefully get this car in the next month or so. I can't do this wait lol good luck all

Once you get past 1100, how long does the rest of the process take if everything goes according to plan, typically?

The real milestone is having a Target Production Week (3400), not really getting to 2000 status imo. From their your order is far more stable.

Hi,

This is my first post on this forum, so please excuse any oddities as I get accustomed to the community.

I placed an order for a 2023 Camaro 3LT Coupe on the first day 2023 orders opened, which I believe was May 5 or 6. It was placed through the largest Chevrolet dealer in Illinois, so I don't think allocation would be an issue. I've talked some with my sales rep, and she tends to sugarcoat the delays, so I decided to come here. I hope to get the reality of the situation. Am I truly at a disadvantage for ordering a V6 instead of a V8? How long should it take for my order to get accepted, and have others with similar builds been getting theirs accepted?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Order banks opened in late April.

Key word is allocation.

V6 engine is on major constraint and will hinder your car from being picked up. It's used across the lineup in SUV's and the Cadillac's so I would imagine it would cause issues. IMO get the V8 or the 2.0 Turbo 4.

My rep said GM wasn't accepting 2023 orders until May 6th, and like I said, allocation shouldn't be a problem here.

I ordered on 4/29 and my order was picked. Like someone else posted, no allocation no pick up.
