L99 gpi ss3 install

Has anyone on here located or made a write up on the L99 Ss3 vvt cam install. I am going to be doing this in a few weeks when all the parts arrive. Also wondering on trans removal for converter install

Was looking more on the l99 based engine instead of the the ls3 one. As I will be running a vvt cam instead of the 3 bolt ls3 cam. So will change the lifters and afm delete valley cover as well as timing set and phase limiter. So was looking for something around those installs.

There is a video or at least there was one on GPI's website or maybe on youtube showing how to install the phaser limiter and I don't think that you have to remove the oil pump to change the cam but someone else will have that answer that. As far as everything else it's pretty straight forward the hardest thing that I can think of is the two front bolts under the oil pan that bolt into the timing cover are a pain.

On second thought I'm sitting here thinking about it and it is a pretty big job. Are you a mechanic?

Pull the motor as you need to get rid of the pressure relief in the oil pan and put in a LS2 oil pump.
