Familiarity breeds contempt, ...
Park it for a while and drive something else, If it doesn't turn you on anymore sell it while you still have some resale value, |

Jeff- The car is going into heated storage about 15 miles from my house next week. I won't have access to the car until spring.
TJ91- So far you are the only one that got that one, I thought that would be a sure tip off that I wasn't serious about the excitement wearing off. I'm glad some people got it! Russ |

This was your idea of a joke? Wow, really fooled me. Sounded 100% serious to me. I feel terrible, today was probably the last day I'll drive mine until spring. |

I guess it depends on your personality and what you get out of the car. My old '91 RS still makes me smile on a regular basis, even with its faded paint and rattles. I just love its lines, and I wanted one so bad before I got it...I remember those days often and am thankful to have it. It doesn't look like much to most (even most 2010 owners don't give it a second look) but it can certainly put a smile on my face.
I expect it will be the same with the 2010 after I've owned IT for 13 years.

If you are sick of that car, there are 1000's of people willing to buy it. You bought this car for the wrong reason. If you grow tired of things quickly there is something missing inside of you, and you should probably get a shrink. As for me, I have a shrink. Its a black 2SS manual RS I/O int I/O striped beast, that sets everything OK in my world after I drive it. I have never owned a car this nice, and I am greatful everyday for having it. Oh and if you need to feel special. Remember your car is faster than 99% of the cars you encounter.

Before you have me committed read the whole post. I was not being serious. I was trying to talk myself out of NOT missing the car when I put it into storage for the winter.
I had hoped this post would have died by now, it was a joke. Give me a break and stop telling me how screwed up I am, how I bought the wrong car, how I bought it for all the wrong reasons...let it go for pete's sake! |

The excitement has just begun for me! I've had my 2SS IOM since October 16th....Yesterday morning, I was traveling down 1604 West, just past La Cantera Parkway and came up on a nice-looking Gold Z06 Corvette. The driver of the 'vette must have seen me coming up because he slowed down a little to allow me to catch up and pull up next to him. We both gave the thumbs up about each other's vehicle. He even made a little gesture that my 2SS was "HOT"!!! So, then I decided to give him a little burst and sped up and left him a few 100 feet behind.....Big Mistake! The 'vette caught up quickly and eventually had to let him pass me up....As he drove by, I saw his license plate which said....... CYULUUZ I thought that was clever!!
