you could get a ZLE lookon a non ZLE for way less than the package actually costs from factory and enjoy the comforts of a non ZLE

I agree with ZL1 +911. Build a ZLE knockoff out of the ZL1 that is available. You can certainly sell the 20's and recoup some of the cost or save everything so it can be returned to original down the road.

https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-...=myATCsavedcar I am not associated with him or the car, but did speak with him. He wanted MRC ride quality with ZLE looks, and had the dealer add all factory parts before delivery. Had to spend a small fortune to pull that off! To the poster that said there are a few used ZLE's out there with a few hundred miles, please direct me to them! I follow the used market very carefully and there are nothing but overpriced relatively high mile one's out there.. |

Sounds like you should grab that regular ZL1 since you're only after the aesthetics of the ZLE. Buy the parts you want to complete the look you want and, as others have mentioned, you'll come out ahead on $$

I was in the same boat. Ended up buying a regular ZL1 from existing inventory after my 22 order got canceled and my 23 was taking weeks...I'm fine with it.
If you're buying the zl1 to use on an actual track, then yes, get the 1LE - it will outperform the non-1LE... If you're buying the car to get maximum attention on the roads and at car shows, then yes, get the 1LE, it will get more attention than the non- 1LE. If you're just buying the car for a fun daily driver or weekend cruiser, I think the regular ZL1 will be great.

Thanks everybody for all your comments. The regular ZL1 is not something new to me as I had a 2013 that I sold over the summer. As I said earlier, it’s more of a look thing for me ZL1 vs ZLE. I don't intend to track the car and it’s really a weekend driver. I am not a fan of the 20" wheels and prefer the red brake calipers. I think the car looks better with gloss black 19" and red brakes. I do like the wing but that's not a deal breaker for me either way. My 2013 was a manual this time I went automatic. I hope I don't regret that . I have always tried to stay away from non-factory mods but to get the look I want it looks like this time I may have to go down that road. I am still excited either way and can't wait to have it in my garage next to my 2021 CT5-V

I got a manual for the same reasons, I know it's slightly slower but it's all about being able to enjoy the car and a few tenths isn't worth the feel of a manual.
Different strokes for different folks. I'm sure you will enjoy whatever you get. If I didn't want to track a manual, I'd of definitely gotten a regular ZL1 convertible with an automatic. Why? Because my wife would love it and day trips in the car wouldn't be a headache. Maybe one day i'll trade the 1le for a vert. |

Stock Zl1 mags are much better looking than those awful black 1Le mags. In my opinion of course.

That's the problem, most modern manual transmissions aren't that great (i.e. rubbery synchro based, not short throw/ultra solid) What would we do without our weekly ZL1/ZLE thread haha |
