Sorry, did you need to change your belt with a longer one when adding the spacers?

Thank you.

A 1/4" change in pulley diameter requires a new belt, so, yea.

Hello,

Just installing my FI Interchiller, but have a problem with the coil line: the hoses and clips that FI sent are too small (8mm) or too big (16mm) for this fitting (12mm), pics attached. The others fitting were OK, but this line doesn't.

Did you have the same issue? If I buy a 12-13mm hose myself and install it in this line, performance of the chiller won't be decreased isn't it?

Kirk is not answering my mail about this problem, that's why I write the post.

Thank you.

The greatest restriction is the size of that fitting. Might as well use the smaller hose. A larger hose won’t allow it to flow more

No didn’t have that issue, but something doesn’t look right. I can’t remember the hose sizes off the top of my head and CSP installed it but I would try reaching FI on phone. They always respond.

Thank you both, finally Kirk answered the mail and yes, they sent an incorrect size hose (bigger, I suppose would fit another car). They will send me ASAP the correct one, but I will try to find one by myself and the one who arrives the first will be installed.

Thank you again

Cool thread…

@camaro1973 - Thanks for the data points and the tip about wrapping the lines. I’ve only got the Stage 1 kit w/ a fender tank and see about 13*F above ambient in cruise conditions. Still better than 140*F temps I was seeing before on the street.

You see all these vids with frosty lines and start wondering WTF - I want frosty too. I plan to open track with this setup, however. I’ve installed a switch-activated bypass with Kirk’s help. My thought is that I can super cool things in the pits and switch the bypass on so the HE setup keeps the temps from getting too out of control. I had attempted to do this automatically via a temp probe - and still may - but it was much simpler to install a switch for the time being. I also just got a Pierburg pump to put in over the stock setup and hopefully that helps things out further. If I can keep the temps from getting too out of control for 20min, I’ll consider that a victory.
