Finally getting the chip shortage things installed - question

Dealer called today to say that my 2022 can finally come in to get the rear parking sensors installed. It's a free service, obv, but while I have it in there, is there anything else I should do? I did the first oil change at around 650 miles just to get that initial oil out. I seem to recall that I did a rear end servicing at 1500 miles on either my 17 SS 1le or 19 Grand Sport, or both...does that sound accurate? I'm at about 1400 miles right now. So what, if anything, should I have the dealer do while the car is in there?

Good deal, I waited almost 8 months for my heated steering wheel, heated and cooled seats on my 2022 Silverado Ltz with 3.0 diesel. Glad its all starting to work out for most new car and truck buyers.

I had them install our rear sensors last week. I also had an oil change since it was due. The "official" recommendation for service isn't until 7500 miles though.

There is a guide at the top of this page that talks about the 500/1500 and beyond servicing.

Yes, change out your rear end fluid at 1500 miles. If you can do it yourself, do it yourself. The dealer is going charge you an arm and a leg for a 15 minute job.

In the regular manual but in the official track prep guide it is recommended to change the oil at 500 and 1500 miles. Then follow the regular maintenance guide after that but if you track the car, then you should also adhere to the recommended oil, transmission, brake fluid, etc interval changes.

FYI. 2, 1 qt bottles of OEM diff fluid is about $40 or so. The elsd takes about 1.7 qts.

Just to give you an idea of cost for yourself to do it.
