WTB: FACTORY Navigation

Want to buy factory navigation unit for a 2013 Camaro ZL1! Anyone have one that they removed?
Sorry for this being posted here, but I cannot post in Audio section or any other section but ZL1

I don't know if one would work, when the networks upgraded to 4G our systems became obsolete.

Yep, the 2010-2013 onstar nav systems became obsolete last December 31. The 2014-2015 still works with an update you can get from the Chevy dealerships, so I understand. Good luck.

So you're telling me when the 4G came about, the factory navigation quit working?

No that was incorrect information, its a GPS unit, still works fine and you can still get NAV Traffic, and Gas Station prices for 6 bucks a month through XM/Sirius..

For the sake of clarification, OnStar killed the 2G support for the dash information center along with some other features. The Sirius/XM mapping still works but will never be as current as Maps or Waze because Here stopped providing updates years ago for the mapping that is used.

AFAIK,
Onstar didn't kill 2g, it was the phone company's that repurposed the transmitting towers from 2G to 5G, thus no more 2G service.
With 2G service no longer available, the older cars that Onstar used 2G for no longer worked for those functions that depended opn 2G service.
