Seriously? You are asking that and you are going to TRY and swap a v8 in? You are in for it.

Stop
Did these other so called pros send you here????Look its not feasible at all. From the rear communications ports and battery ending under the rear seat on a LT is the only thing that is remotely similar. The rest from the cluster board that stores your mileage to center console, BCM , Comm port under cover on driver side to front end harness and related to headlights fuel rails ECM , yea I know. All different plus you must also include Bottom side sensors from CAT's to Trans the works. NONE IS COMPATIBLE... Please cancel out this request before asking further.

Not trying to discourage you but others have tried and failed. I can see using a stand alone to run the engine but I'm sure trying to get any of the other systems up and running without the engine computer is going to be extremely tough. I only say this because I've watched others that had advanced knowledge and resources fail trying the same. I'll tell you how I would do it is find a totaled v8 car and simply swap everything. No reason it shouldn't work except the vin not matching the car. Also some states that have emission or state inspection check the vin,s. If they don't match it will fail but maybe your state isn't one of them. If you get it working for sure post it up. Good Luck.

Here is an old thread that is worth going through. https://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=448785
No discouragement here either but it is certainly not plug & play. At the end of the day consider if the juice is worth the squeeze.
