Why buy a 2010 when ya can wait a few months and get a more powerful and (hopefully) more efficient engine?
Agreed, however, they just announced the V6 motor yesterday and haven't announced what the GT will have yet. Plus, you just can't discount the fact that to most people, the Camaro is just plain better looking! Performance of these cars is important, but design sells just as much and the Camaro has style for days!

I agree. This has nothing to do with Camaro, but everything to do with the 2011 Mustang. You'd be totally STOOPID or live in a cave to buy a 2010 Mustang - and apparently there were 3627 of them in November.

Why do I still see more 2010 Mustangs around than Camaros, though?

Some people just need a car *now,* or aren't "car people" and don't care.

Well there has been speculation out there for some time. but yes, Camaro is still the better choice imo (obviously )

I wonder how many 2010's will be produced total. The way it's going we may see north of 200,000 depending on when the 2011 is released. I imagine the 2010 will run longer than a calendar year.

?? What kind of "non car person" buys a muscle car?

I mean what person would pay 2010 GT prices to get the same power and probably less performance and handling than the 2011 V6?

Some people don't follow the news, and so when they go to buy a car they just buy what is there and don't think ahead. I know someone recently who almost got a brand new Pontiac and had NO idea the brand was going away. SO ya, people just don't pay attention to these things.

With that said, great news once again on outselling the Mustang!!

By non-car person, I meant someone who is looking at what's on the lot right now and not researching what is being put out later.
