Do it with my G8's flip key all the time...click...open...fold...click
The G8's flip key is more wobbly than the current breed of them from GM, and no issue nearing a year now--even bounced it off the pavement/the floor a few times. |

I do but I also know better!
Mercedes has used this type of key forever. They break at the pivot point where the chrome meets the plastic. They seperate and the spring and cam button slip and they will then flop open and closed. No spring tension to hold them closed. I would guess that they are $150.00 or more to replace and might need sync'n. So ocd away. |
