I'm about ready to PUKE seeing all these Rustang pics on a Camaro forum! Anyway, it's good that Ford is stepping up to the plate! It only makes Chevy have to keep one step ahead, that means better products and competitive pricing for us! BTW, the Camaro has it over both the Stang and Chally hands down for both performance and looks, IMO!

I remember seeing and hearing about 315 horses in the V6, not 325 though.

I think both cars are nice cars, I'd be fine with either (although my heart stills belongs to the Camaro). I'd much rather be driving a Camaro than a Mustang though. Looks like GM will just have to step it up a lil' bit.

im getting the v6 Camaro because i can care less if the v6 mustang is faster, there is always a faster car out there then yours

Exactly, there is ALWAYS a faster car. Mine is fast enough to have fun in and looks great, tis all the matters

All the stuff Ive read say the mustang will be a 5.0 Cammer. I doubt it will push more than 400 SAE HP. Actually I found the article from a reputable mustang site.

And I quote:

"According to several sources across the web Ford is indeed developing an all-new 32 valve 5.0L V8 engine with the code name 'Coyote' for a return in the 2011 Mustang GT and 2011 Ford F-150. The all-new 5.0L V8 powerplant is said to have 400 horsepower and 400 ft-lbs of torque. The new 5.0L V8 has been rumored for quite sometime and comes as no surprise to Mustang fans who knew Ford would have to do something to keep up with the new Challenger SRT8 and 2010 Camaro SS. Ford has made no official announcement on the new 5.0L V8 as we expect it to stay that way until sometime in 2010. With the refreshed 2010 Mustang GT coming with the 4.6L V8 in a few months Ford would not want to hinder sales of their new pony car by releasing info on the new 5.0L V8."
