How much would be acceptable to pay for...
I've had my car for about one month so far. I would really like to have some rally stripes painted on my car. I've shopped around and get completely different prices from each person I speak to. What have you folks seen to be the average amount to pay to have this done..? Any suggestions or advice would be great! Thanks

I don't know orange10s.c. but from what I have seen (in pictures) he does an excellent job. I know if I lived in FL I'd seriously consider him, plus it's only 2hrs away and the trip up the coast (98) would be pretty sweet and allow for some nice photo ops I'd think .

Mine, done in the Pittsburgh, PA were about $1k. I've seen basic rallys as low as $750 and as high as $1600 depending on a shop's labor rate. Around $1k is a fair price considering the labor involved. Cheapest option isn't necessarily the best. You want them done right. Shop around and look at the shop's work on other cars before you commit. Don't settle for looking at pics. Actually inspect a car or two. Well worth the time...

All excellent suggestions. I'm more than likely going to go with orange10s.c.! They are right down the road, and I looked at their work also. I'm very impressed and would be more than happy to give them some business.

The cost for mine was $3,700. A bit pricey but it was very labor intensive. He wet sanded down to the base/tint coat then striped with Burgundy Candy/Pearl. More wet sanding then 6 coats of clear over entire sections so you can't feel the stripes. The stripes look like they were done at the factory. They fade from Black Cherry to the Red Jewel of the car depending on light and angle.
