Precisely. With an A6, the driver is probably not a he.

Although I don't owe anyone an explanation of why I have 426 plate on an A6, I'll tell the story and tear me to bits if you like.

I pre-ordered my plate before I went to order my car. At that time, local dealers were selling at 5k over invoice and I wasn't about to pay that. A short drive to Houston I found what I wanted at sticker but it was an A6. I was ok either way with an auto or manual but the dealer didn't have manual on the lot. I chose to take delivery that day rather than the wait.

I jumped the gun on the plate and if I get called on it, big deal.. just gives me an excuse to mod it.

To Easy Go, I hope you were just kidding.. yes men do drive autos.

If I were to change your statement to: With an LS, the driver is probably not a he... would that be just as funny?

We all drive what we want to drive for whatever reason, why can't that just be accepted.

All new Camaros are cool and some people have "issues".

You are correct. Transmissions are not an accurate indication of gender.

Your modified statement would be just as funny. My retort would be "Better than getting it done quickly is knowing how to work it."

Indeed! Throw a little dry humor out there and their panties get all in a bunch.

Oh - I had better explain... I wasn't explicitly stating any gentlemen here wear panties. Though it is their prerogative. Especially if they drive automatics...
