Although I don't owe anyone an explanation of why I have 426 plate on an A6, I'll tell the story and tear me to bits if you like.
I pre-ordered my plate before I went to order my car. At that time, local dealers were selling at 5k over invoice and I wasn't about to pay that. A short drive to Houston I found what I wanted at sticker but it was an A6. I was ok either way with an auto or manual but the dealer didn't have manual on the lot. I chose to take delivery that day rather than the wait. I jumped the gun on the plate and if I get called on it, big deal.. just gives me an excuse to mod it. Quote:
