Paula Deans in Savannah Ga - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Is there anyone who lives close to Paula Deans restraunt in Savannah Ga? My wife has been trying to go to this restraunt for years, but due to the way they do their reservation/wait list we have been unsuccessful. :(

We will be down for the C5Fest, and our group will be staying by 95 in Savannah, which is not to far away. I was wondering if anyone would be willing to go by on the 15th of April and put my name on the reservation list for the day.

I know it is a weird request, but it would make her happy, so it is worth the shot. Just trying to get a feel early.

Im in the area, but i dont think you'll need any help getting in. it isn't as bad as it use to be. it depends on the time of year. april isnt bad. you might have to wait 15 minutes or something. your talking about lady and sons restaurant right? not uncle bubbas oyster house where she taped her show before.

I heard it was OK, but not great. Her brother's restaurant, Bubba's, is where she films her show and is supposed to be much better. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to go while I was in town, so I can't say for myself.

Thanks for responding. I think uncle Bubbas is the place we are going to go after checking on line. It appears it is easier to get into as well. It just appeared it was so difficult to get into Paula Deans. We can never get there before the evening.

lady and sons is about 15 minutes from 95, and bubbas is 15 further than that.

im not big on southern food. But i end up getting chicken fingers everytime. they give you cornbread muffins with actual pieces of corn in them. I like country style home cooking, I'm from up north.

I eat it all. As long as it is good. The seafood is where we would spend most of our time.

I haven't been to either but I hear Uncle Bubba's is better. I think Lady and Sons is over-hyped.

Been to Lady and Sons twice and Bubbas Once. Bubbas was way better food! The wait on either one wasn't very long, we usually go in July and through the week though. If you go to Lady and SOns make sure you check out the Riverfront, there's allot to see there.

There is a seafood restaurant that is called Shrimp something or other right on the river front that is very good. By the way don't miss out on the candy factory there is a must.
