Saw Synergy Green - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Driving to get a bite to eat today and saw a new Synergy Green Camaro parked across the street. Man is this a wild color. Looks sort of irredescent. Walked over and introduced myself and my 2SS/RS VR 6M baby. Long story short - the color is amazing but I was somewhat surprised when he told me that it comes only in V6 automatic. Does anyone know why GM decided to do this or is he mistaken.

He is correct. I would assume to sell more v6 cars.

they wanted to make it more "affordable"...but it's still 29k and change.

Sorry to hear that some folks will not be able to get a V8 in this cool color but fewer V8's makes my baby that much more desirable. Does anyone know if GM will be restricting how many V8's are sold in 2011?

I seen one on a hauller going through Chicago today (nice). My wife made the point to say(at the Chicago auto show)that the color is sweet and a lot of young (men/women) will be in line to buy this car.That being said the color is nice but not for me(I'm old).So the younger gen will be more incline to buy this than us older folk, hence the price factor,witch leads to the packaging.
No dissrespect to the young ones that have a SS

i saw one at the dealer today also, its a crazy color...i like it...but im gonna stick with my ABM camaro...i took a pic but im too lazy to post...
