Those are, quite possibly, the two best names for cars I've ever heard. Definitely the "Frank Sonata". That one is just pure genious. I am envious and will steal those names at the first opportunity I get.

lol... funny thread.

I say whomever bought the keys makes the rules. I test drove a couple Camaros that might have been a "she". Hard to tell on such a short drive. But I do know the one in this driveway is without a doubt a "He".

I don't have a name for mine but I do refer to it as my baby or her when in conversation. As for the debate I won't repost the picture but all I will say is I believe SSOOCH determined it was a female.

For sure....But Barbaro is in a much better place now. I like to think that the photoshop I did is representative of what we'd see now, if heaven had web cams. Barbaro Rocks On, and hopefully soon too will a Camaro named after him

One of the most famous Camaro's ever was KITT. I think KITT was a "HE" not a SHE"

Smokey and the Bandit? I know it was a Trans AM but does anyone remember the name he called the car?
Words cannot describe the FAIL here.....

KITT was a Trans Am. But I agree, it should be called "SHE."

Traditionally vehicles are referred to as "she". Ships, aircraft, etc..all carry a feminine title. Why? not sure, but it feels good to say.

Insisting that something be called "he" comes from a mindset of the opinion that "something powerful cannot be female". The Germans insisted on calling the DKM Bismarck a "he" because of the "masculine warrior tasks to which she was assigned" and because it was named after Otto Von Bismarck, the "iron chancellor".

Of course Bismarck was sunk but a bunch of "girl" ships..such as King George V, Rodney, Norfolk and Suffolk. So..I guess that argument looks stupid.

Moving on, I think people calling it "he" will be in the minority.
