As for the leak... basically the joint is not water tight... the condensation builds up and collects at the bottom side of the pipe... The water then works it's way through the joint, along with a bit of carbon... it doesn't take but one tiny pin hole sized gap for the water to get through... Mine has the little bit of carbon but it's only on the underside of the pipe, so it's really only leaking out the bottom of the joint... which to me means the water pools up at the bottom of the joint and then slowly works it way out... Also I notice the carbon looks like it just kind of leaked out and pooled there, it does not look like it was sprayed out like it was under pressure...

I had in mind to wrap the junction between the 2 pipes, under the clamp, with muffler repair tape - ya know the 'asbestos' (not really) type - to sort of seal under the clamp. Concern is, would it fit ?

Opinions on fit and idea to prevent leaks ??

And I guess mine was one of the ones with the funky right one because they put the left one on easy and had to bend the right one to get it one! But its on, and welded on, and it sounds AMAZING!

Yup I'll be at the May one! The last two times I was in Austin. I have been on mine as well! Let the fiance drive and he was impressed and was having fun with it. Been working out in Willis and the back roads I have to take are deserted and curvey!!

had the 2.0 on for a while now and it has really became a monster sound for the v6. It deffinetly gets deeper as you wear in. Who ever buys them will be happy

The sound is a little loud in the beginning but over time it get very low. I put the xpipe on and can barely tell a difference....

Completed the install of the MRT 2.0 yesterday............WOW .....A big thank - you to all those who posted info on this system. It is truly a GREAT sound. You can roll thru the subdivision in "stealth" mode and no one knows what has been done, but turn the corner on the main road and open it up and let the sound begin.

Dropped the 25.5 lb each suitcases and replaced with 9.5 lb. each overnight bags. Total weight savings of 32 lbs. Enough to offset the golf clubs that are in the trunk.
