Sounds fun Kyla! Is there any interest in a Cruise up to St. Louis for the LSX shootout?

New guy.

Hi everyone!!

My White SS M6 is supposed to be built this week. I ordered it June 29 and the parts boxes are pilling up.

Kyla, if we run heads up at Centerville the SC cars would win easily. We could run a heads up index with a breakout, but it wouldn't be fun for the SC or 6 cyl cars.

Nobody asked, but if you multiply your 1000' et by 1.19 you will get your 1/4 mile time within about .005. Ex: 11.00 x 1.19 = 13.09.

The reason I said we should do the heads up race is because the times were not good with the bracket b/c Dee and Chris started with an 11 something and got kicked out of the race for getting a 10 something then I rode with a guy who beat an older drag camaro to the line but was beat out b/c of time and it didn't seem fair to me

Kyla,
The heads up race will be won by the fastest car. That is just one way to race. Obviously, the unmodified v8's will be beaten by the cars with mods and the V6 cars will have a bad day so they are not likely to bother with race day at all.

Bracket racing puts everyone on a level playing field and everyone will need to bring thier best driving skills in order to win the competition. The driver that is most consistent will win at bracket racing. Each racer displays a "dial-in" on the windsield that represents thier fastest possible run time. The slower cars get a head start and the faster car will have to catch up. If either car has cheated on the dial-in (sand bagged) then they have a good chance od "breaking out" where they run faster than the time they claimed was thier "best" on the widshield. It's just a different way to compete. A 1975 Ford Pinto could win on race day if it was very consistent.

Hi everyone. Looks like I am behind the curve on local Camaro club. I would like to jump in with my 'Poison Apple'. I have a 2010 SE Synergy Green Camaro. I so love it, but its not a racer, sporting a V6. Looking forward to meeting and touring with everyone.
