Forget the Warranty!!!

Okay so the first day i got my Shasta, I said I was only going to get the mods that would allow me to keep my warranty... Not any more. This is the list of everything I am getting placed on her in the next couple of weeks and what I already have. I'd like to hear what ya'll think.

Currently on:
MGW Short throw
CAI Inc. Intake
DT Shortys and Cat Back
Also I cut out my back two cats

Projected 2 weeks out:
Magnacharger TVS-2300
CTS Custom stage 2 blower cam
PRC .650" dual valve spring kit
PRC 7.400 chromemoly pushrods
GM Crank balancer bolt
NGK TR6 Spark plugs
160* thermostat
Port and polish throttle body
Devils Own DVC-30 Stage 2 meth injection
Single guage A pillar mount (changing to a double to add fuel)
Autometer ultra lite boost gauge (changing)

What you think?

I wish I knew what half that stuff did. OK, I know it all adds horsepower in the end, I just don't know any specifics. My father is the mechanical one in my family, that's why all of my mods to this point have been cosmetic. That and I paid extra for extended warranties. Anyway, it sounds like you will be getting alot of bang for your buck. Enjoy!

sounds like power!

why did you go with shorty headers vs long tubes?

heard great things about whipple and kenne bell s/c systems.

nice list of projected mods.

I feel your excitement. My mods are getting installed next week. Eventually I might think about a Maggie but for right now I think after next week my next big thing will be 4:10s.
Let us know how everything goes.

So you are going to run all that through DT shories?

I'm curious how well it will run. Now we can see how good (or not) shorties will hold up to that kind of power.

Edit: With all that stuff you should at least throw on some HF cats. I would think that factory mid-pip might restrict you some.

$10,000 worth of mods and you don't want LTs. I think you should rethink this. Just saying. You could sell the shorties and get a little of your money back for the LTs. Good Luck.
