UpstateC5 Invades Watkins Glen! - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hey everyone, our local Camaro Club "UpstateC5" did some adventuring this past weekend. We traveled to "The Windmill" in Penn Yan, NY and participated in a car show, we had 20 cars from our club in attendance. Following the car show we traveled to Watkins Glen, NY and got to run 3 laps at the Watkins Glen International Speedway. The Glen was awesome. Supposed to be 3 paced laps at 55mph for $25. We had 15 cars so we were eligible for the group rate at $15. Luckily our pace driver didn't hear about the 55mph part, lol. I think we may have slowed to that in the chicane. Hit 110 on the straight coming out of the esses. Ran the whole 3.5 mile course. Below are some pictures and a couple of my "famous" videos

Scotty you need to get here a few days earlier next year maybe we can set you up in a car ,and iam not talking VIBE either,

A lot of the club members chipped in to help out on this one, from suggesting the show, a meeting spot at a house , working with the Track on details , finding all of us food, and a simple hand held computer to clear an airbox code. We do rather well for being together since early june.
