My wifes new Honda Pilots right side door mirror glass goes down automatically when you put it in reverse to parallel park so you can see the curb. That's a cool feature GM should consider for the Camaro.

I also notice issues seeing where the curb is on right side, especially for turns. I just try to take it wide/easy when possible. I also sometimes park wrong (over the line or too close to it on the right) if there is no frame of reference for me to tell the left side limits.

I'm fine with parallel parking but as someone mentioned, that slightly down hill, right hand turn is a biaotch.... There is the perfect example on my daily commute, turning off of a bridge down hill 180 degree semi sharp turn. One night they paved and the next morning there were no lines on the road and no street lights in this particular area.... couldn't see the curb for CHIT!

yea a few companies have been doing that, mostly foreign from what I can remember. It's a nice feature if you are always parallel parking but no so much backing into a garage, which I do both daily so I'll deal with my manual controls.

I can't judge this car at all... I do put the right mirror down to see the curb when parking, but I can't tell where the rear end or front end stops. I was at a light behind a honda, thought I had maybe 3 feet, and this car pulls out of the store to my left and drives between me and the honda and gets in the far right lane. I about sucked the seat up my butt. I have had to learn how to park this car by what I can see out the rear window (like landmarks); if I can see the bottom of the parking meter where it jsut covers the pole, im good. crazy

Drive a 65 Chevy Impala or a 66 Pontiac Catalina and this Camaro is a piece of cake to drive not like a CVN (Aircraft carrier) on wheels. My biggest problem in "Not" breaking the speed limit...This thing is AMAZING. 7 weeks and the Honeymoon is still going strong. Guess I got a Keeper

Hi my name is bob ( hi bob)
Yes I too am afraid of taco bells drive thru

Seriously though, it takes some getting used to, ok well a lot of getting used to.
I can't see the curb for shit on either side if I'm close to it.
I tend to try and stay in the middle of the lane.
I did drive up on a curb ( slightly, no damage) on the left trying to avoid the curb on the right at a drive thru.
Was kind of embarrassing, I'm sure the people in line got a good chuckle.
But curbs are my least worry. What I'm concerned about is the magical rearview mirror that shoots out cars. Lol

I dont think its a vision problems. I cant see the curb even with my dinky Celica. But I can estimate where the curb is pretty well with the Celica but not so well with the Camaro. I think Its cause theres a LOT of car in front of you. For meI have nearly 8 feet of car in front of me (corner to corner) which make it difficult to estimate. However like everything you get used to it.

the vision is pretty crazy in this vehicle......

ive noticed now when i got thru fast food drive thrus that i gotta be gentle around the curbs.

I can also agree with the right turns....u gotta be careful with them.

lets see stoplights i just remember to stop before the line where i can see the light and if i dont make then i just duck under my visor.....

lol just learn to get around in your badass beast!!!
