Last I talked to my dealer they said Dec 14 give or take a couple days. So I called today and they said they have 35 cars in Mira Loma and ours has a "HOT" expedite on it and we will know within 30 min. of it's arrival on their lot...I feel like Wolf on Pulp Fiction. That's all I want to hear.

Well, car is finally in. Getting jacked around by the dealer last minute ...go figure, a dishonest car salesman. Oh well. Off work in an hour then a couple hour drive to Tacoma to pick it up. Cant wait!

Man I feel bad for you guys. I know youre on the West Coast with me and Ive had my car for a week as of this Saturday and you guys haven't even got yours yet. Mines being a garage queen today. It ws drizzling yesterday when I had to make a trip to Irvine to buy some coursebooks and lab stuffs. Im pretty sure she wants to go be all intimidating in the rain but where to go?

Congrats buddy! I loved the color black. I was going between black and rjt. I'm a perfectionist and the black and its swirls would drive me nuts as my baby is a DD. Anyone keep that machine looking sharp!

Well, after the long wait and anticipation, my camaro days are not gonna happen. Went to the dealer, saw the car we've so anxiously awaited, just to have the dealer do some of the most dirty underhanded sales tactics I've ever seen. Our deal was set, our trade was already negotiated and they tried to screw me the second I walked through the door. Wanted to do a "final appraisal" on the trade after they'd already seen the car. Came back in and told me I had a bad stock clutch and it needed to be replaced....a 4K job. First of all I don't have a stock clutch, its a racing clutch, second it ain't bad, it works fine. Once they realized that I wasn't a sucker they looked at it again and realized it was ok, hmmm....go figure. Then they tried some other things to get me down on the trade.....long story short, they really made what was supposed to be a great day, blow!

I wont name the dealer, but be careful if your in Tacoma, WA. Oh well....I'll just have to keep my Corvette for now. Not like its a beater...its a Vette

Congrats to all that got their new cars, they are absolutely beautiful. I'll get one someday. Just not enough of a sucker to buy from the crooks in Tacoma.

Got the new Camaro last night and Joan drove it home. We parked it for the first time and when we went to leave the key wouldn't turn the lock. Thank goodness we have seen this before and cranked the steering wheel and it started. Wheels weren't even that turned...strange.

So I go steal the Camaro from where my wife works and take it on a 130mile 4 hr cruise down the Pacific Coast Highway! The kids and parents hanging out the windows of an suv at a light next to me yelling at the car probably made me blush but that was pretty funny. Through Swami's in Encinatas, Solana Beach, Del Mar between the race track and the beach, Torrey Pines then I freestyled it for a while before turning back on HWY 1.
But the feeling of driving this car is so much like my 77 TA and my 67GTO...it's a pure muscle car even the V6 auto. I had my right hand at the base of the auto shifter and could feel it move when I took off. I can feel the motor purr by holding the base of the shifter...man that's a muscle car! I feel so conected to the car when I'm driving it.

It was raining last night and I love the Traction-control! Wish my other old muscle cars had that in the damn rain. I kept the rpm's real varied only hitting 5Krmp two times passing real quick. Hit the gas for just a second and you're doing 80! holy crap! I love it.
