They are still putting the stronger motor in the 335iS...
It also has an optional DCT transmission

I was really sock and it is great to see the comparison between BMW and Chevy Camaro. and It is really socking that 3.0 liter, DI, turbocharged 6 cylinder only puts out 300 HP as compared to the Camaro's 3.8 liter, DI non-turbo 6 cylinder's 312 HP. Yeah, 0.8 of a liter. As per my view that is more that enough to know about Camaro. Thanks for sharing this information.

lmao... just cause its turbo doesnt mean its running high boost, or that it has large enough turbos, or that the motor is equal compression than the 3.8. lot more variables to it...

wow

My car can run a little faster than this G37 automatic, I have max summer performance rear tires that hook up faster. Keep in mind the Camaro driver had a .05 reaction time versus .27 for the G37....

Camaro V6's are slow ! They cant break into the 13s, low 14s stock at most with a good driver. They weigh 3800 lbs !! which is ridiculous, thats 200-300 lbs. more than my 4-door G !!

You are comparing apples to oranges. But the BMW turbo 6 will eat you NA Camaro V6 for lunch any time, anywhere.
When comparing 2 cars with roughly the same power output, in relation to which is faster, you must also take into account the weight of the cars.

Find reasons to spend the price difference on a V6 Camaro and I'm sure you could make the BMW weep.

This is kind of ridiculous, like Top Gear comparing the Camaro SS to the Mercedes E63 AMG. You get the performance you pay for

I lost to a 335i and was kinda pissed at that until i found out:

1. twin turbo stock

2. 300 lbs of torque

then realized if STS kit was good as advertised, having an STS kit, carbon fiber hood/trunk lid/fenders/seats would make the 335i not an issue anymore....but I don't want to void my extended warranty on FI....and waiting for GM to make V6TT
