I installed mine last weekend...I like them, but I think I have a bit of a leak at the manifold to midpipe connection. I now hate that my L99 car has AFM on it though....It sounds like a rice burner really bad now with that kicking in. I think GM should make the AFM disable when you put the transmission into sport mode so you don't have to hear that annoying sound.

I installed them with the assistance of my buddy, and a lift. I've got to say it wasn't the easiest thing to do...but it's doable. We partially stripped one of the O2 sensors and had to spend quite a bit of time filing off bad threads and trying to get them to fit. If you do them yourself it is easiest to takeout the back O2 sensors while the pipes are still hot, and unplug the front two from the car once the pipes have cooled and can be handled. When you get the mids on the ground heat the area around them up with a propane torch or something and they'll come right out. Trust me this will save you some headaches. You'll love them though. Totally changes the sound of your car.

Too much work for me lol Plus I think I will have less of a chance throwing a code if I have them installed by a professional. I can't wait to hear what it sounds like! I got shorty headers being installed too.

Is there a differance in sound between the jba catted mids and longtubes with hiflow cats. I know I want that sound, but I don't want to have to tune for now.

I'm thinking about these as well. Do they give an increase in power? Will I lose low-end torque after the hf cats?

Mine just threw P0430. Pretty sure its the left front O2 sensor. But cant borrow a set of jacks. Probably just taking it to the dealer. My dealer flat out told me he wont void my warranty for anything.
