ADM fuel system

I had no serious issues during the install. A couple of minor problems that I caused for myself, but nothing I needed to call for help. The plastic fuel line mod is the biggest pain in the ass of the whole thing. Some all thread or long bolts will keep you from dropping the rear subframe. (you just need less than a half inch more to drop the tank).

Everything was nicely packaged and the service as well as product was excellent as usual.

Thanks ADM!

I feel your pain on the cross over line it is a real PITA. Wait til you watch the pressure go to 70 when in boost thats the best part

Wow, you can really get the tank out of there by dropping 1/2" further than the stock bolts fully extended?! That's good to know and makes this mod less daunting...

Are you running out of fuel or just want more boost? How much hp are you making?

The less fuel in the tank the easier it is to drop so drive it till you get the reserve fuel message, I think it says low fuel but not sure. You get the point. Good Luck

Adding a cam and upgrading fuel system to be safe, and yes we are uping the boost a little. Not going to get crazy, but get it into the high 500's or 600 rwhp range. Should be around 8psi or so when done. Making about 500 rwhp.

I think I'm good with that. Ran out of fuel as I drove it into the shop.

By the way, don't expect much more than 30 miles on low fuel even taking it easy.

I didn't use longer bolts, but it would help those without tools. I backed the rear bolts almost all the way out. I have an adjustable jack stand that I put under the rear end while the car was on the lift. I removed the front bolts and lowered the rear end with the jack a bit and the tank came right out. Longer bolts or all thread would accomplish the same thing if you don't have the tools. It just seemed faster than dropping it.

I had to boil the plastic fuel line in order to splice it and it was a serious pain in the ass. If anyone has a better way to do that, please let me know for future reference.

I have a lift, but need a high jack. I have a support stand, but don't know if it's stable enough. It's nice to know that it can be done without dropping it all the way out!

I actually put some 12 ton jack stands (Simply cause my Dad has those for tractors and diesel trucks) on the frame and in the very back and put two 4 tons in the front and used a transmission jack to lower it all the way out. I had plenty of room to work and it was an ease. I can't show pictures at the moment cause I had to come back to Africa. Camera is at home. But the actual frame goes all the way to the back up by the tail lights kind of.
