Transport time to NY??? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

hey guys just wondering what the general wait time is for delivery to ny. My dealer is telling me two to three weeks which made no sense to me. I've seen people from ny receive their cars as little as two days after being shipped. I live like 30 minutes outside of NYC so anybody from ny please let me know your experience when it came to getting your camaro after it's been shipped.

My TPW was 3/28.. my vert landed in PA last night.. and dealer is driving it to me Monday.. I'm in Suffolk LI..

3 weeks from production to delivery..

my car shipped this past saturday. anybody know what the odds are of me getting it this week? or am i more likely to get it early next week?

Mine has been done since 3-28 and its still at the plant .

I ordered mine on 3/21/11, don't know date it was built or shipped, (2G1FG1ED5B9182481) but on 4/11 it was en route to dealer. I'm about 216 miles from plant in Western NY ... not here yet... getting anxious... hopefully this week.

Are you tracking it on Camarotracking.com? If it shipped via train it still needs to go to NJ via train and then be loaded on a truck for delivery. Heres the thing though if your dealership has other cars that need to be delivered, you may see your car soon, otherwise there could be another wait. Thats why they say 2-3 weeks. You should check out Ny5thgen.com too, we are all from NY state

yea im using camarotracking.com. I think my dealer said its being shipped by truck not train. This wait is killing me lol! And ill definitely check out ny5thgen, cant wait to go to some camaro meets.

I live in central NY near Syracuse. Took about 7 days to get the car from Oshawa. 5 of those days involved my car being at a stop point. (QC, or maybe even a dist. center.) Keep in mind that I'm roughly 250 miles from Oshawa, which is trucking distance. I'm not sure if being further south requires them to put your car on a train. Which would take slightly longer.

I'm about 510 miles from oshawa. I'm going to call my dealer and ask them if my car is being shipped through truck or train.

When I ordered my Camaro to be delivered in Yorktown it was 3.5 weeks from build to delivery. The second you forget about it, it will show up. Now try forgetting about a New Camaro for more than 5 minutes at a time!

My car was shipped to Rochester and took 8 days to get here. Drive time is around 4 hours. I think it was wating for a trailer to get filled with cars going to my dealer. They got it on Friday PM and I picked it up Saturday AM.

Yes we do! It's all good once you get to the dealer and see it's really there.

my dealer told me today that its being shipped by train then put on a truck so it looks like ill be waiting a while. He also told me he gets updates every thursday so maybe ill get some more info tommorow.
