I currently have a coolingmist trunk mount. Just wanted to see how others are actually mounting it in the trunk.

To get to the wiring and motor I just romove the back seat and it's right there. It's still easy to fill from the trunk with a gallon jug which I carry with me just incase. I cut a thin piece of plywood larger than the foot print or the tank to lay on the carpet around the battery cover/lid so I could still get under it without moving the tank. I attached the tank to the wood. I have a thick rubber mat that is made to fit the trunk. I cut out the mat to fit tightly around the tank which holds it from moving around. The mat lays on top of the wood to keep the tank from bouncing up. To remove I just lift the matt, unplug the wires and out it comes. I can still get to my battery and compressor. PM me if you have questions.
Not quite following what you are saying. If you don't mind, can you take a pic of the plywood you are talking about? Then I assume you are cutting out the square where the tank goes out of the rubber so that the rubber keeps it in place.

thanks
Dean

I would like to have the meth tank in the trunk, however does this put a strain on the pump ?

I have a really clean setup that hides the pump behind the tank and is easily accessible. I'll post pics later today. The shop who did the work is in Campbell, not too far from you.

On the left. We fabbed something that wouldn't take up the whole trunk.
