have someone run down to the local track & pick up some window marker stuff there.
it comes off & is safe for your car.

OP, didn't your co-worker mention they are driving to Yellowstone for their two-week honeymoon? Just a couple of stops at the salt flats on the way...no biggie. LOL

I learned my lesson last weekend when I let the 2nd person drive my car. I put a supercharger in it and sitting at 560 RWHP. A friend that was a huge car buff wanted to drive it and I didnt mind since I was going and knew he would respect. -- After he drove it, NEVER AGAIN!!! He probably got 2 MPG for the 8 mile drive. He managed to race another mustang and almost kill both of us along the ride. I told him he has had enough and to pull over. I realize he was excited, but give a little respect.

Just curious, is your Camaro at least white? For some reason I just think a white Camaro would look better to drive away from a wedding in.

I know you might trust him and have explained the rules to him. What about the OTHER people at the wedding??

Are you sure they wouldn't harm it even unintentionally?

It's just not a good idea. You could really end up ruining a good freindship over a simple door ding, rice going down the window cavity and rattling forever, or something else. Maybe just for pics and a 1/2 mile drive... but if he has to drive it more than a mile I'd say NO. Just my gut instinct. Mistake happen.

Just need to say that I ur GTO! One of my favs of all time!!!!

To the OP: Ur a great friend but are you really sure that this is what you want to do? Be prepared to have something happen to it. My dad drove my friend to her wedding in his show car ('32 3 window coupe) but HE was driving. He wouldnt even think of letting anyone else drive his car. I hope it works out for you just prepare for the worst, just in case.

I'd have told him "no way", but suggested that he could rent one. Hell, I'd rather rent one for him (1-day rental) rather than risk him taking my car...
