Question about 3.2 pully

I'm putting a 3.2 pully upgade on my 2300 Magnson charger and was wondering if I need to upgade my fuel system or will stock be ok. Any input about other upgrades will help also. Thanks

Yes and unless you have an 8 rib setup or the Jannetty super tensioner the belt is going to slip.

I have the Jannetty super tensioner and I forgot to say its a L99. Someone told me that I didnt need the fuel upgrade. I'm I correct in thinking that if I dont do the upgrade it could lean out and possibly damage the car?

Absolutely! That will be a bunch of boost for stock internals...

With the stock fuel pump and a 3.2" pulley, you won't make it through the first run through the gears. You will spit parts

You will definitely need the Fuel pump Voltage booster and larger Injectors.

Thank you for purchasing the supertensioner it is a great addition to your Maggie.

I am always available for consultation on your builds to prevent possible pitfalls.

The Smallest Pulley we run on stock internals on pump gas is a 3.4 with LT headers off road pipes and a CAI cold air kit.

Ted.

Sorry guys for giving a little info at a time but I work outside and last weeks heat kicked my ass! Let me list out what I have done so far.
2300 maggie
Kooks 3/4x3" longtube headers
OEM high flow cats
Jannetty super tensioner

When you say I need bigger injectors are you saying I need to change out the ones already in the maggie?

Yes you Do, they run out with the 3.4 pulley and so does the fuel pump without a voltage booster.

Ted.

This is what is being said at the place I got the pulley from and it is were I'm getting my frame of thinking from.
If running Long-Tube Headers, you will lose 2 PSI of Boost and to gain that back, choose a pulley 2 sizes smaller!
