Vette, 1000x over. It would be intersting to see if anyone would seriously pick the camaro.

I'd take a ZL1 over the grand sport. Probaly close if not better performance and more practical.

Most reviews have the GS 0-60 in 3.9-4.1 seconds, and 1/4 mile in the Llow 12's. I dont see why the ZL1 wont be able to match that.

Yup, its a serious question. I have the opportunity to trade in my Camaro and buy a brand new Grand Sport.... Originally 75k+ w/ their employee pricing 18k off the price tag.... so I 80k Corvette for 60k. Which is in my budget... and may be to good to pass up.

Do it....and don't look back.

The Gran Sport is basically a Z06 with an LS3 in it....I'd do that in a heartbeat.

Really, most of you ended up 5th gen Camaro owners because you couldn't afford a Corvette?

I could of bought a GS or a used Z06 but I dont consider myself a Corvette sort of driving guy. Partly because I'm un-married, no kids and only thirty years old. If I was fifty, with kids that have moved out of the house, sure I could see myself owning a Corvette but not this early in life. Its kind of like owning yacht.

Along with the fact that it's probably capable of running 11's just like it's LS3 base compatriot, along with the fact that it's got Z06 suspension. I don't see a ZL1 beating a Z06 around the track...

I actually traded my 2007 Z51 in for my Camaro. While not really, I felt the Camaro was a little more practical living in Los Angeles. Lol. What was I thinking?
