possibly buying 2011 camaro vert this week

I am having a little dilemma and I need a some advice. I found a 2LT/RS victory red vert 2011 at a dealer willing to sell it for 33500. This seems like a really good deal to me. I had convinced myself that I wanted a 2012 because I figured all the kinks would be worked out from the 2011 . Now do I go for the 2011 at that price or do I wait for the 2012? Will I be missing out on not waiting for the 2012? Have there been enough "kinks" in the 2011 that it is worth the wait? I am confused on what to do so any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Get the 2012..The V6 has more HP and I believe it is a flexfuel engine as well so it can run on E85

however... 11's have the unique Camaro steering wheel, unlike the generic GM wheel that several other models come with... not to mention, the extremely short model year run of the 11's... not many around! SUX2BU said he installed a back-up cam for about $300... door lock location and pass seat adjustment are over rated... double click your driver handle twice and it opens without the center button... the rest, well -Im never in the passenger seat, so it really doesn't bother me, lol!

One thing I will warn you of- look for the infamous "wear/rub" marks on the passenger side top between the #2-#3 roof brace... that's an on-going issue we're still having problems with. It was corrected by mid March bilds, but those of us before... been back 5 times already, including a new top- still no fix. I'd let that be your deciding factor, marks; pass it up, no marks- it was meant to be, come join the elite 2011 club, lol

That is a GREAT price especially if it is an automatic. Jump on it.

I was in the same boat as you, buy or wait. I'd go with the 11 for that price. The back up camera is interesting but I'm sure they'll have it as an option to install for the 11's soon, if not already.

I agree, I like the distinct steering wheel and the only problem i've had w/ my 11 is the rub mark. Seems theres a new fix for it, so if you ask them to fix that first, i'm sure you're safe.

The minor issues not worth the wait. Snag it!! Wisconsin weather has got to be getting great for a convertible!

I'd jump on it now. I have a LT2/RS and have no issues at all. Well other than trying not to smile as I cruise around in it. The dealers giving you a fair price as well. My wife has an Acura RDX with a back up camera. I never used it. I'm just used to using my mirrors when backing up.

Despite my problems (air bag sensor, window alignment indexing, iPod crackle, pinched top, scratches and dents from the dealer), I still love this car. Buy it.

Looks like you'll be saving about a good $10k on the price. ( I'm also judging it by AK prices, which is ridiculous ) Personally don't think the 12's is that much of a difference to miss a great price as the one you listed.
