Why didn't you check the license plate to check if it was a government plate?

Don't know about where you live but here in FLA. We have plenty of officers in unmarked vehicles without government plates.

True, here in Stafford they have unmarked Ford Escapes and unmarked Malibus from the last generation. I can still pick them out from a mile away. Oh yea, radar detectors are illegal here too so don't get caught with that if you do get pulled over.

At that point, he likely would have thought you were being a smsrtass, and given you a ticket for 86.

Another thing...I don't use 6th to go fast. I use it for gas milage at 70 (or 74-76 when I'm not speeding faster).

5th gear is what you want to use when you go faster

Not to rain on your parade but thoes M6 numbers are Revs, x gear ratio. It works on paper, but in real life you have to facter in Weight and Aero. My SS toped out at 144 in 4th when it had 450.5 hp at the wheels and lowered 1.5". I have not found a safe enough stretch to top 5th out yet but I am guessing it will inpact thoes numbers even more.
