Any complaints on 2012 Vert's? We good?

I think GM has stepped up and is about to take care of me. I am replacing my 2011 Vert with the exact same 2012 model (my choice). I loved the looks and feel of my 11, unfortunately it had more problems than it should have. It happens, not one manufacturer makes a perfect car and the law of averages had caught up to me. Anything I should know about on the 2012's out there? I can't wait to be able to get back behind the wheel of my Camaro, it has been awhile and I am anxious! Thanks in advance for what ever feedback I get and I will post the new pictures as soon as I take delivery. I just hope it is before this weekend!!!!

I have had my 1ss since 8/4. Issues so far. Hole in seat fabric at 160 miles. Top rubbing since new. Now getting worse as the fabric is stretching. Paint is chipping off on the doors. Right rear passenger window squeaks and grinds when it is going down. Passenger rear window trim is coming off. Headliner has not beennlined up since delivery right side has more fabric and is wrinkled vs. driver side. Could try to fix but might be worse than it is now.
That's all for the first month of ownership. Don't get me wrong. I love this car and would get another in a heartbeat. Chevy has been great and Jeff Morris is a great assets to the Camaro community.

Sorry that your going through this. Jeff has been helpful to me as well and GM is trying to do the right thing. Hate that your 12 Vert slipped through the quality dept. I am hoping my vert shows up soon, today. How is the wind noise in your vert?

It's very quiet. Nothing like my Firebird was. I only have rubs on the top so far. Going in next Tuesday to get these issues addressed. While I have problems, they could be much worse. I love my car.

Around 1400 on the wife's car. Can't tell from the rubs, because she doesn't put it up and down enough (even though I tell her to). The only problems we have seen so far are the passenger door has a sometimes squeak (since we picked it up), I didn't like the alignement of the trunklid on passenger side and the driver side mirror is not strong enough to withstand the force of a non-mobile maibox The wife is learning the parameters of the car

That's too funny! I just drove mine and it seems great. It is so new that it hasn't even been detailed yet, straight off the truck! I hope it is nothing like my 2011!

I just realized that I had so many problems with my 2011 vert that I am too paranoid to put the top down or any other normal thing you would want to do with this vert! I keep thinking that the top is going to screw up something! I love the new additions, the back up camera, power passenger seat, leather trimmed dash, polished rims. I still don't like that the fog lights are in the headlights and the daytime running lights are down there. It would look much better if both sets could be on at night.

I have over 1000 on my 2012 45th 2LT and I don't really have many issues. The driver door seems to hang up and I think it's probably an alignment that can be changed. The top I have had down a lot and right now it is up and I don't see the rub marks, although before we put the 303 on I thought there might be a start. I also stop the top in the down motion about 1/2 ways and move the top so the folds of the fabric go the way so not to rub on areas I visibly see that could be an issue. Hood doesn't seat down low enough. I think the linkage between 1 and 2nd is off some. There is a spot where the paint seems thin as the metallic isn't as dense as the rest of the car on the top of one rear fender.
These are all small issues that come with owning a new car. I feel there will always be some tweaking to be done.
But......otherwise I LOVE this car!!!!

I picked mine up yesterday. Have a whole 100 miles on it. Drove it yesterday with the top down the entire time. Of course the only day we had it sprinkling and/or rain in N.Tx this summer is the day that I get my 2012. No issues at all.. Very little road noise with the top up. Sooo much less than my hubby's honda had [and that wasnt even a convertible] I am absolutely in love with this car. Hubby keeps asking if I have received a ticket yet.

Top down 95% of the time with 1500 miles and no issues to report.
