That is absolutely absurd...The S type is not loud, it is not loud at all. Not only does my wife loves the sound of my S type WITH headers... my neighbors love it, that includes their wives.
I would tell her to suck it up, she will get used to it. It is only "SLIGHTLY" loud at crank up, nothing else. You are better off just trading the Camaro (or wife) in now, because you are being cut at the throat. Forget ever getting headers or a cam swap.. basically everything that is fun about modifying this vehicle.

I have a brand new Gmpp axle back it should bolt right up to ur x pipes if your interested in it. Mine broke but was on warranty so my dealer is replacing it but I just purchased an atak.
The Gmpp I have is the same as borla touring from what I heard its even made by borla lmk if u would be interested |
